EARLY LEARNING STUDIO

Early Development: Toddler classes at Russian International School
Today, the benefits of early childhood development are no longer in doubt. Many parents strive to create conditions for maximising their child's potential from an early age.

However, the question arises: how to organise classes for very young children who cannot concentrate for long and get tired quickly? The answer to this question is complex developmental activities in a playful form, which are united by a common theme and captivate the child.

At Russian International School we offer two specialised programmes for the very young:

‘Together with Mum’ (for children from 1 to 2 years old)

Duration of the class: 60 minutes
This programme is designed for very young children who are beginning their exploration of the world under the guidance of their mother and teacher. Classes include:

  1. Greetings: The beginning of the class includes songs, dances and finger games that create a friendly atmosphere.
  2. Play activities: Babies participate in a variety of games to develop motor skills, memory and attention.
  3. Communication with mum: Parents are actively involved in the process, which strengthens emotional bonding and communication skills.
  4. Problems and solutions: Various situations are discussed during the sessions to help the kids learn to find solutions together with their parents.
  5. Wrap-up: A closing tea party creates a cosy atmosphere, allowing parents and children to discuss the sessions and share their impressions.

‘Early Development Studio’ (for children from 2 to 3 years old)

Duration of the class: 75 minutes
The programme includes developmental blocks that help the child learn different skills through fun and varied games:

  1. Welcoming: Each session starts with songs and dances to create a friendly atmosphere.
  2. Intellectual block: Children develop attention, memory and imagination through fun games and tasks.
  3. Individual work: The teacher conducts individual lessons aimed at the development of fine motor skills and speech.
  4. Creative block: Participation in creative tasks helps to develop coordination, visual perception and imagination.
  5. Motor Block: Incorporating elements of baby yoga and fitness promotes physical health.
