The Literary Club at RIS is a unique opportunity for children to unlock their creative potential through engaging activities. The program is based on an authorial approach to interactive reading, which includes four main blocks: reading, discussing the book, acting out the plot, and creative work. Children are encouraged to illustrate the plot or characters and participate in theatrical performances.
Inspiring Meetings and Workshops
Regularly, guest speakers such as journalists, travelers, writers, and editors of children's magazines visit for workshops. During these meetings, children read aloud, discuss what they have read, and participate in games and quizzes, enriching their literary horizons.
Additional Events and Literary Evenings
In addition to the main program, the school hosts literary evenings, and mobile libraries, such as the "Bumper" book bus, and exhibitions of children's English literature also visit. The Literary Club is a space where every meeting becomes a step toward new discoveries and creative achievements!
