RIS Nursery is a bilingual kindergarten that offers high-quality education to children aged 2 to 7. Founded by an international team of educators and early childhood development experts, the nursery combines the best traditions of British and Russian education.
One of the key features of RIS Nursery is its dual-language approach: children are immersed daily in both English and Russian language environments, fostering bilingualism from an early age. The educational programs are designed in accordance with international Cambridge and Edexcel standards, ensuring a high level of education and helping children develop essential skills for future academic success.

Age Groups | RIS Nursery
Each stage of a child's development is unique and at RIS Nursery we focus on each age to ensure a harmonious and engaging learning experience for all our pupils.
Pre-Nursery (2-3 years)
Socialisation and fine motor development, play activities for adaptability and confidence.
Nursery (3-4 years)
Bilingual education, developing speech and basic skills through games and creative tasks.
Reception (4-5 years)
Preparation for school: reading, writing, maths, cognitive development and independence.
Year 1 (5-6 years)
At this stage, special attention is given to deepening knowledge, developing academic and creative skills, and fostering analytical thinking in children.
Year 2 (6-7 years)
Intensive preparation for school, consolidating academic skills, working in teams and projects.
RIS Nursery programmes are aimed at the all-round and harmonious development of the individual
At RIS Nursery (a British preschool), two main programs are implemented simultaneously: the International program, based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 of the British National Curriculum, and the Russian program.
Education and upbringing in these programs are conducted equally in English and Russian. This allows children to become fluent in English without losing their native language, mentality, or culture.
Chinese is offered as an additional language, while individual lessons can be conducted in French, Italian, German, or Spanish.
The RIS Nursery program integrates the best practices and achievements of both Russian and international early childhood education, offering an optimal combination of tradition and innovation. It is aimed at the comprehensive development of the child’s personality—intellectual, physical, psychological, creative, social, and emotional spheres.
