Principles of study at the Russian International School
  • Continuity
Russian International School ensures continuity of the educational process at all stages of a child's development, from 2 to 18 years of age. This allows each teacher not only to prepare students for the requirements of the next level of education, but also to use the accumulated knowledge and experience for their further progress. This approach guarantees the consistent and organic development of each child.
  • Flexibility and adaptability of the training process
Every child is unique and RIS’ approach to learning is based on meeting each pupil's individual needs, abilities and interests. Curricula are tailored to specific goals, creating the most personalised educational trajectory for each student.
  • Linking theory and practice
Students see how theoretical knowledge helps them to solve real-life problems, developing their critical thinking and ability to apply knowledge to life.
  • Educational development
RIS teachers believe that learning should not only provide knowledge, but also stimulate personal development. Thus, the learning process creates conditions for continuous growth, developing in students the skills and abilities necessary for success in today's world.
  • Active Learners
RIS teachers see education as a process of two-way interaction where the learner is an active participant. During lessons, students think, experiment, come up with ideas, and participate in discussions. RIS supports and stimulates all cognitive activity, developing in children a love of exploration and creativity.
  • Sytematic development
RIS students are helped to form a holistic perception of the world. Educational processes are designed to ensure that students understand the interconnectedness of disciplines and learn to see the big picture of the world.
All teachers at Russian International School are highly qualified specialists with years of experience. They are dedicated to their profession and committed to helping each child unlock their potential. Our educators employ a wide range of teaching methods and creatively integrate the latest educational technologies, fostering critical thinking and the intellectual and personal development of students. A key part of their work is the active use of information and communication technologies, as well as multimedia tools, making the learning process both modern and engaging.

One of RIS's key advantages is its close-knit atmosphere and small class sizes, allowing each student to receive maximum attention and an individualized approach. This ensures students get more support and guidance, contributing to significant academic progress.

At RIS, monitoring academic performance and timely identifying challenges is an essential part of the educational process. Regular tests, diagnostic assessments, and independent work are conducted not merely for grading but to allow teachers to identify areas for improvement for each child. This approach ensures that the learning process can be adjusted to meet individual needs while also maintaining compliance with high international and Russian education standards.
